Bundles of food and ammunition being loaded aboard a C-47 of the 14th Air Force Transport Unit. They will be kicked out to Chinese troops cut off from ground supply in eastern China.
Bundles to be dropped by parachute are being tied to static line. The chutes will open automatically when kicked from the doorway to besieged Chinese troops by members of the Fourteenth Air Force Transport Unit.
