Missing Air Crew Report (MACR) 12028 regarding the February 7, 1945 crash of a C-47 with the loss of two American personnel and 35 Chinese personnel at Tian'e ("Tungloa"), Guangxi province. There exists only a record of the names of the American personnel, as below.

Visit to first crash site in Tian'e, Guangxi province

Mr. YA pointing to the hillside where the plane crashed.  Villagers say the plane came in at night, in the dark, then circled dropping flares, before finally crashing.  A large number of Chinese soldiers were on the plane, supposedly just returned from training abroad, and all died, along with the two Americans. At least one additional American bailed out of the airplane, was injured, but ultimately survived, and was taken from the valley a couple days after the crash.
