Sample of a propaganda flyer (front and back of a single sheet shown) thrown out while in the air by B-24 bomber crews in China, as collected by Robert Zolbe, who kept a few back when he tossed them out on missions. These flyers were usually on very thin paper, and quite small, maybe 6-7 inches tall, and 4-6 inches wide. The flyers would be thrown out in handfuls over specific areas for propaganda or informational purposes for people on the ground. This flyer is written in Japanese, and directed at occupying Japanese forces, reminding them of the disaster the war had become for the Japanese.
