Walter Lescher Dowling in the CBI during WWII. Dowling was a member of 7th Veterinary Company. Went by name Lescher Dowling. He was drafted in 1943, and served 1943-1945. Lescher served as a mail and assistant clerk. He also rode and cared for horses and mules. 10th Mountain Division.
