Corporal Edmond F. Anzalone, 30, a flying photographer, was killed in action January 7, 1945, while taking off for an photo recon mission in a B-29 from Dushkundi base in India. Shortly after take off the airplane crashed and burned. No parachutes were seen and all aboard where killed. Cpl. Anzalone operated a hair-dressing shop in Ardmore, PA, before he entered the service.
