Nose art showing a women riding a falling bomb. During WWII, this B-24L serial  44-41431 was named "BOMBS AWAY". The plane flew missions in early 1945 assigned to 373rd Bomb Squadron, 308th Bomb Group, with the Fourteenth Air Force in China. After 373 BS operated from Luliang, China from 14 Sep 1944 until it transferred to Yontan, Okinawa 21 July 1945, where the plane was transferred to 494th Bomb Group (7th Air Forced).
